Brief overview of the exam

 This exam primarily focusses on testing the four basic skills of the language namely, listening, reading, writing and speaking. The exam of the first three skills such as listening, reading and writing is conducted in a day. However, the assessment of the speaking skill is done either a week prior to the main exam or after the test of the three skills. The duration of the test for listening, reading and writing is 2 hours and 40 minutes and the speaking is done for 11-14 minutes. The result of the test is declared within 13 days from the conduct of the exam.
